Experience our 70+km trail system, where the scenic splendor of the White Mountain National Forest offers opportunity for excellent skiing and exploring Waterville Valley. We are committed to dependable grooming and quality snow surfaces. Our trails are groomed daily and offer a wide range of terrain from novice to expert for both skate and classic styles, so whether a competitive athlete, enthusiast or for the whole family, we have something for all. Nordic Instructor and 4-time Olympian Kris Freeman has made Waterville Valley Resort his home trail system. "Waterville Valley Resort has always been my favorite place to ski and I look forward to training here every winter. The extensive trail network keeps it fresh and exciting with a natural trail flow that makes it accessible for skiers of all skill levels."
The Nordic Center
At the Nordic Center we are available to meet all your ski and snowshoe needs: we can help with where to go, give you the most current conditions, and let you know of events and activities going on. Our knowledgeable staff is here to help you make the most of your Nordic adventure. Our inventory of rental gear includes classic, skate gear and snowshoes. We're a Swix Concept store and offer a large inventory or skis, boots, poles, clothing and accessories by Fischer, Salomon and Atomic. We also offer a fleet of child trailer sled, full service repairs, and waxing and tuning.
Where We Are
Visit us in Town Square and you’ll find yourself in the heart of an alpine village, with shops, restaurants, sleigh rides, ice skating, fireworks and more. It’s a beginning for all of your winter adventures—trails are right outside the door. The Nordic Center is where to enjoy a crackling fire, a picnic lunch or a cup of coffee with family & friends.
