Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking day and night shift custodians for the winter season.  Duties include, but are not limited to; help clean and tidy common spaces, bathrooms, buildings, hallways and work spaces; emptying trash; vacuuming; washing stairs and floors.  Requirements:  must be able to work nights and weekends; must be at least 18 years of age; have good communication skills. CUSTODIAN

 Performs custodial maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms. Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies. Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal. * Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas. * Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff. * Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. * Assists in on-the-job training of new staff on routine procedures. * Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on requirements. * May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to supervisor. * May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities. Jr Seasonal Ski & Snowboard Instructors

Seasonal programming kids meet weekends & holiday periods as designated. This position requires lesson planning for an entire season. We have instructor openings for these Jr Seasonal groups. Lil Grit – ages 4-5yrs, True Grit Ski – ages 6-12yrs, True Grit Snowboard – ages 6-12yrs, Race Focus – ages 9-12yrs, FREE Ride – ages 9-15yrs, Teen – ages 13-16yrs.

Junior Seasonal Programs start on December 14, 2024, and operate weekends through March 16, 2025, including these midweek holidays: 12/26/24 – 12/31/24; 2/17 - 2/21/25. Part-time position driving a snowmobile that pulls a sled where children are transported from the Kids Kamp area to the beginner lifts.
