ADVENTURE CENTER ATTENDANTS

BUILDING CUSTODIAL

Waterville Valley Resort is currently seeking day and night shift custodians for the winter season.  Duties include, but are not limited to; help clean and tidy common spaces, bathrooms, buildings, hallways and work spaces; emptying trash; vacuuming; washing stairs and floors.  Requirements:  must be able to work nights and weekends; must be at least 18 years of age; have good communication skills. May report issues with vendors to supervisor. * May assist or perform snow removal activities and minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities. Waterville Valley Resort is seeking part-time and full-time banquet servers. Duties include, but are not limited to: provide excellent table service by setting tables; stocking service stations with supplies, beverages, condiments and other needed items; explaining menu to guests and answering questions about food preparations and contents; taking orders and accurately communicating orders to banquet manager, supervisor, kitchen and/or bar staff as appropriate; serving all ordered food and beverages; setting up banquet rooms and coffee stations; monitoring tables to assure all guest needs and requests are met; clearing and cleaning tables; cleaning and straightening service stations and work areas. Waterville Valley Resort’s Conference Center is seeking banquet set-up crew to set up for group functions, including chairs, tables, stage, and audio- visual equipment; break down after functions, store furniture and equipment after functions; assist with clean up and light maintenance projects to ensure that building and grounds are clean and ready to receive guests. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with lift loading, unloading, and lift closing; checking riders for valid lift tickets; assist guests with loading themselves and equipment onto lift; attentive to special needs of children, novices, and adaptive athletes; explain procedures to inexperienced riders and slow or stop lift as needed; maintain efficient and safe lift lines; shut down lift, clear ramps and maze areas, and secure lift house and equipment at close of each day. MAJOR FUNCTION & SCOPE:
