Saturday
Once the cold temperatures set it, we’ll get to work around midnight to grind things up on the North End and deliver a nice skiing surface. The coverage is still holding up well on most trails with just a spot of thin cover here and there. Every trail should see a groom except John Deere. We’ll also make a pass across Swan’s Way/Inner Mad River/Village Trail, use caution on Village Trail and in the tunnel.
On the South End we should be able to groom a couple of trails. Use extra care in the Pond Loop tunnels, especially the one by Packard’s Field (soccer field) as it was quite wet on Friday and may be icy Saturday.
Take extra care on trail/road edges and in parking lots where ice is likely to have formed overnight.
Sorry for any confusion on the Kris Freeman Clinic, it is on Sunday 2/25, not on Saturday. There are still spots open if you’d like to join!
Stay warm out there,
Ian
