Thursday

The storm brought us a net gain of snow out on the trails, so that’s a win. We’re waiting for the snow to dry out before possibly attempting a snowmobile groom on Thursday morning on the North End. Watch for updates mid-morning.

We’re slated to host a high-school race at 2:30pm on the North End. So expect some extra traffic at the Livermore Parking area. The course will most likely be on the Tripoli Rd side of the system so give them some room. These kids have had a tough start to their ski season so we’re trying our best to pull off this race for them.

Thursday night we should see much colder temperatures, which will help stabilize the snow and allow more extensive grooming on Friday.

Despite the continued infusion of unwanted wet precipitation, it feels like we’re finally on the cusp of establishing a snowpack and producing tubular ski conditions!

Cheers,
Ian
