Storm Update

We picked up somewhere between 3-5” of heavy wet snow before it switched over to rain/mixed precipitation. Due to the moisture in the snow and high temps today, we will not be grooming. I’m asking that anyone headed out stay on the North End so we can leave the snow intact on the South End for the weekend’s race. Village Trail to Inner Mad River to Swan’s Way will remain open. We should have snow in the Village Trail tunnel by mid morning.

The good news is that we still came out with a net gain of precipitation and the wind this afternoon should start to dry the snow out. There’s even a chance of some snow showers this evening, which would help soak up more of the moisture.
