Thursday

Overnight we groomed out all of the North End except John Deere and Cascade Brook. Skiing continues to be phenomenal this week. There are also still lots of great holiday gift options in the shop for you last minute shoppers. Windproof boxers for dad or nice new pair of mittens for Aunt Leslie.

My crystal ball is currently in the shop for repairs, but the weather headed our way Friday does seem to have improved a little. There is a good chance we see snow initially that will help soak up the rain that follows. The high temperature has also dropped which will help significantly with snow preservation. It’s likely many of our low lying trails will see some ponding, but much of the North End drains fairly well. Thankfully the temperatures are headed back down quickly after this storm and high winds should help pull some of that moisture back out of the snow. We’ll have the machines ready to roll once we feel things are firm enough to get out and start grinding things up to make magic happen.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season!
