We have one more day to get through above the freezing mark. Snow on the trails should remain soft and pliable, but watch as thin cover may have started to develop in a few spots. We’ll do a final check on Friday afternoon to make sure there’s still enough out there to warrant a Saturday morning groom. If the snow doesn’t freeze up hard Friday night then we may have to consider a snowmobile groom in lieu of taking the big equipment out. I’ve been trying really hard to get my crystal ball back in working order, but I think I’m going to have to send it in for a tune up.

On the bright side, there’s a snowstorm brewing for next Wednesday. Keep your fingers and toes crossed.
