Conditions for Saturday 4/8/23

A cold night will allow us to get out early Saturday morning and polish up the North End. We’ll be sticking to quality over quantity and focusing efforts on the Tripoli/Lower Osceola side. In addition to Tripoli Rd and Lower/Upper Osceola, we should be able to groom out Moose Run and Wicked Easy. The coverage is still really good, especially on Tripoli Rd, which has zero thin spots. Any brown you see is likely tree debris at this point. There should be classic tracks set on almost every trail as well, although some spots may be a bit icy in the tracks. The few icy spots out there are pretty visible and should get a little better on Saturday after a second groom.

It looks like we’ll be able to replicate the grooming plan and conditions for Sunday as well, which may be our last groom of the season, given the forecast for next week.
