WEDNESDAY - MARCH 16TH

Diary posts are written the night before with the projected conditions. Updates will be added the following morning if conditions or grooming plans change.

Wednesday 3/16/.22

Mid-day update: We groomed Tripoli Rd, Livermore Road, and Cascade Brook before it go too sticky out there. The ungroomed trails will ski fine but probably a bit sticky until the sun works its magic and transforms the snow to corn. Unfortunately it’s time to say goodbye to the South End with both Pond Loop tunnels in rough shape. There is still decent coverage on Snows Brook if you’re looking for an adventure ski.

We’re expecting a few inches of snow overnight, so we’ll try to accomplish some grooming on the North End in the morning. The temperatures are expected to spike fairly quickly so we may not be able to cover every open trail before it becomes too warm. Make sure to wax your skis well because the new snow will likely become quite sticky by the afternoon, especially if the sun comes out.

Enjoy!
