So far so good

As promised, this storm has been slowly dropping snow with 5-7” so far and more to come overnight into Saturday. Since there was some fairly wet snow at the start, we are waiting until Saturday morning to begin packing the new snow. It will take us a good portion of the day to whip things into shape. Please remember there is no base underneath this new snow so it will be possible to push through to the bottom. It looks like cold temperatures Saturday evening will help firm up the snow. Trails should open by Sunday and at this point I would not expect any classic tracks to be set, but if the storm overperforms there’s a chance we can make some magic happen.
