The Storm cometh

I think we’re close enough now that I can officially say snow is coming without jinxing us. Current predictions are in the range of 10-14 inches. This will be a slow moving and drawn out affair with snow expected to continue from early morning Friday through the Saturday evening. While we may do a little exploratory trail packing on Friday afternoon, we will wait for the bulk of the snow to fall before beginning our work in earnest on Saturday morning. Trails will likely need some time to set up and we may have to make a number of passes with machinery to pack the snow before actually laying down a nice groom of corduroy. It is unlikely we will begin setting any classic tracks this weekend with no compacted base to worth with. It’s possible we won’t officially open any trails until Sunday depending on how things shape up. Hopefully there’s so much snow we can’t keep up with it!

Starting Saturday 12/17/22 we will be open 7-days a week from 8:30am - 4pm

See you on the snow!

Ian
