Sunday Fun-Day!
If there’s such a thing as too much snow, we’re getting close to it. That is definitely not a complaint. We’ll be working all night to pack the new 14-18” (more may come overnight) and lay down a nice groom for Sunday. With the ground mostly thawed before this storm and active ground water running, we’ll be mostly sticking to the trails that were most recently open as they are the driest and smoothest. If we’re able to make good progress on the North End then we may even open a couple of trails on the South End. Likely Swan’s Way, Inner Mad River, Village Trail, Pond Loop and Snows Brook.
Skating might be a bit soft for Sunday but the trails should start to set up pretty well by Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately, it looks like the warm/wet weather might be back by mid-week. So make plans to get up here ASAP to maximize this colossal snowstorm.
We are still running a sale on just about everything in the shop and we have rental equipment available for sale. Don’t forget to grab your 24/25 Season Pass as well, they are on sale at the lowest price through April 30th!
Cheers,
Ian
