Saturday Update

Reports from the groomers are that Lower Snows, Swazeytown, and Beanbender are loooking good! We were even able to set track on Lower Snows. That means the North End is 100% open and groomed for today. We were also able to make a fresh groom on HB Highway, so just Lower Fletchers and Sloppy Joes are skiing on yesterdays groom and everything else in the system will be fresh for today. The snow is very cold and sharp so wax accordingly, but there is very little wind so far this morning making the temperatures bearable.

If you missed it earlier in the week, a local skier, Dr. Suzanne Young, is researching hydration practices of XC skiers in New England. She is a Professor at New England College and her research area is hydration in endurance athletes, specifically marathon runners. There has been little research done in XC skiers to date, but by completing her survey you can help change that. Thanks for your help!
