While we're still in the manufacturing stage, we're excited to share some updates on the progress of our new White Peaks 6-Pack chairlift. Parts of our new chairlift are currently being manufactured by Bartholet. These pictures were sent directly from Bartholet's headquarters in Flums, Switzerland . Bartholet is a world-renowned manufacturer of aerial lift carriers, terminals, and sheave trains.

• WHAT IS A SHEAVE TRAIN?

  A sheave train is a series of sheave wheels located on the cross-arm of in-line, top & bottom lift terminals. A sheave wheel is a special type of wheel lined with rubber. These wheels support the haul rope. In most cases, there will be more sheaves wheels on the uphill side of the terminal than the downhill side.
