Grand Unveiling

A grand unveiling took place this afternoon, as we gave skiers and riders a sneak peek at the chairlift they'll be riding next season! We unveiled a prototype of our new lift's carriage, exhibiting both the weather-resistant bubble as well as ergonomic individual seats. While there are no safety bars on this prototype, our new carriage will indeed have integrated child protection safety bars.

The carriage unveiling was completed by General Manager Tim Smith, Butch Cushing - our Lift Operations Manager (and local celebrity), as well as Zach Malecha - a member of our spectacular lift maintenance team. The entire Waterville Valley Team is thrilled to present this new carriage to our guests, especially as this is only a taste of the upgrades that are on Waterville Valley Resort’s horizon!
