Haul Rope Delivery

Yesterday, our new haul rope was delivered to Waterville Valley Resort. This haul rope will be an integral part to our new 6-pack bubble chairlift. With a thickness of 54 millimeters (equivalent to 2.25 inches), this hefty haul rope was wrapped around a metal spool and covered with a large tarp. This made it quite difficult to distinguish that the part was indeed the haul rope. So, we decided to have some fun with it.

We reached out to our Instagram followers, quizzing chair lift aficionados by asking if they could guess what laid underneath this mysterious tarp. Some fans guessed the bullwheels, others guessed drive motors. One fan even guessed a flux capacitor. Unfortunately, Waterville Valley is not in the business of time travel. Much to our delight, many fans guessed correctly!
