Here We Go

Monday we packed several trails on the North End in preparation for a morning groom on Tuesday. This will be a snowmobile groom only, with no classic tracks due to the shallow snow pack. Trails will be in early season condition with bumps, lumps, and spots of thin cover. We should be able to groom Tripoli Rd, Lower Osceola, Bob’s Lookout, Livermore Rd to Greeley Path only, and at least part of the Connector. Moose Run and Wicked Easy may see a partial groom, use extra caution on those. On the South End we should be able to open a loop on the Golf Course and in the Teaching Area. Pipeline will not be open, but will have some grooming marks as we use it to access the trail system.

Cold temperatures over the next few days should allow us to groom a couple of times and start to level out the trails. I expect conditions to hold up well through Saturday. Even though there’s some warmth in the forecast for Sunday, we’re going to do our best to get as many ski days in as we can!
