Friday

Conditions for Friday 3/24/23

MORNING UPDATE: Lower Osceola is being groomed and will assess additional trails after we see how that comes out.

After some rain on Thursday, we’re going to let the wind do it’s thing and dry the trails out as long as possible. We’ll wait until Friday morning to see if the snow has firmed up enough to be able to groom. Since temperatures are not expected to dip much below freezing, it’s possible the snow will remain soft enough for enjoyable skiing without a groom. It will be a game-time decision in the morning so watch for an update.

Looking forward to the weekend, colder temperatures are expected Friday night, which should allow us to do quite a bit of grooming for Saturday. We’re also watching a storm that may drop a few inches of fresh snow Saturday night into Sunday, which would refresh and soften the snow surface out there.

Don’t give up on winter quite yet, folks. We still have a lot of snow out there!

Happy trails,

Ian
